Why Won’t My H1E Earbuds Charge or Turn On?

Applies to: Heavys H1E earbuds

Quick Answer

Check that the protective stickers have been removed from the charging contacts, the earbuds sit correctly in the case, and the charging case has power.

1. Check the Charging Contacts

If your earbuds are new, remove any protective stickers covering their charging contacts.

Check for visible dirt or debris that could prevent contact with the case. Do not scrape the contacts or insert metal objects into the case.

2. Check the Earbuds’ Position

Place each earbud in its matching slot. Make sure both earbuds sit properly and nothing prevents contact with the charging pins.

Note whether one earbud or both are affected.

3. Check the Charging Case

Connect the case to a working charging cable and power source.

If the case does not respond:

  • Check that the cable is connected securely.
  • Try another compatible charging cable.
  • Try another working power source.
  • Note whether a charging indicator appears.

4. Reset If the Earbuds Have Power

If the earbuds turn on but behave incorrectly, follow How to Factory Reset H1E Earbuds.

If they will not turn on, skip the reset and contact Support.

What If the Battery Runs Out Quickly?

See How Long Does the H1E Battery Last? for expected battery life.

If one earbud consistently runs out much sooner than the other, tell Support how long each lasts after charging.
