Quick Answer
If your H1E earbuds connect through Bluetooth but do not appear in the HEAVYS App, update or reinstall the app and confirm that it has Bluetooth permission. Reconnect the earbuds and complete the in-app sign-up process if this is your first setup.
Symptoms
Follow these steps if:
- The H1E connects through your device’s Bluetooth settings, but the HEAVYS App cannot detect it.
- The app’s EQ settings are unavailable.
- You cannot access or install firmware updates.
How to Connect the H1E to the HEAVYS App
1. Update the HEAVYS App
Open your device’s app store and install the latest available version of the HEAVYS App. Open it again and check whether the H1E appears.
2. Reinstall the App
If updating does not resolve the issue:
- Fully close the HEAVYS App.
- Uninstall it from your phone or tablet.
- Download and install it again from your device’s app store.
- Open the app and sign in or complete the setup process.
3. Enable Bluetooth Permission
Open your phone or tablet’s settings and confirm that the HEAVYS App has permission to use Bluetooth.
The location and wording of this setting may vary depending on your device and operating-system version.
4. Reconnect the Earbuds
- Confirm that Bluetooth is enabled.
- Reconnect your H1E earbuds through the device’s Bluetooth settings.
- Open the HEAVYS App.
- Check whether the earbuds now appear as connected.
- Retry the firmware update if one is available.
5. Complete First-Time Sign-Up
If you are setting up the H1E for the first time, complete the sign-up process inside the HEAVYS App before trying to access EQ settings or firmware updates.
6. Test Another Device
If possible, install the HEAVYS App on another compatible phone or tablet and attempt the setup again.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why does Bluetooth show my H1E as connected when the app does not?
A Bluetooth connection alone may not allow the app to detect the earbuds if the app is outdated, incorrectly installed, missing Bluetooth permission, or awaiting completion of the initial sign-up process.
Why can’t I access the EQ or firmware update?
These features may be unavailable until the HEAVYS App successfully detects the connected H1E earbuds.
Do I need an account for first-time setup?
Complete the sign-up process shown in the HEAVYS App when setting up the earbuds for the first time.
